Motor Mounts.....is it time?

how would I know if I need to replace the motor mounts in my 94 GXE.....just got the car a few days ago......when I hit the gas hard I occasionally hear a "clunk" sound coming from the front of the car.....not normal....not sure what it could be....one of the many things I'll need to replace....what do ya think??

thanks

Get a buddy, open the hood, have them look at the motor when you put it in reverse and rolled back, then drive.

If it rocks, you need new ones. If replaced a friends with NEW oem ones and they went bad a week after with abuse. I went to poly... Those have to be custom made.
