rear lower main bearing help

Gents' Is there any way to install the lower rear main bearing without removing the crank. I can get it a 1/4 way around before it gets hung up. I pulled up the crank a little bit but no joy. Any other suggestions???

when we've swapped bearings like that, try using the new bearing as a pusher and roll the old one out and the new one in at the same time. good luck. sometimes it's a beotch.

Tried that, it really didn't work for the main rear bearings, but I got them in. Thanks for the help!
