Yea, I have a 92, still with stock rims, and am considering Eibach springs. Some sort of preview would be most helpful.

do you have a bigger version of the picture in you signature? i tried using the one from your sig, but it was too small and the quality wasn't good when i tried to make it bigger.

here is a larger version but i don't think the quality will be too great if you try to enlarge this one either...this particular pic was taken with a disposable camera hence the quality..

I'm just wondering, but why do you want to lower your car and keep the stock rims. Do you plan on putting rims on it in the future. Just my oppinion but I think that it is worthless to lower a car without nice tires and rims. You dont get the performance or the looks that slamming your car gives you. Its your car man but I'm just letting know not to expect to much of a difference in looks or performance w/stock rims.

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed

Yep. Thats how I got my car dropped like 4". The ride quality was not affected at all either. After the springs themselves the car didn't sit like I wanted so I had no other choice. It sits nice now and was definitly worth it. If I had 17's I would have dropped it even more. It's nothing to low but the tires sit nice right inside the fenders. I wish they made coilovers.

not everyone can afford to buy rims and lower at the same time...i do plan on buying rims but in the future....and its not worthless to lower w/o rims...im not totally all for show...i care more about performance so that's why i would go with the eibachs...and saying that you don't get performance w/o nice tires and rims isn't exactly accurate...bigger rims and tires will add to the performance but they don't make the springs perform...

it you want proformance then i would deff go with front or rear sway bars. they help the handling on the car. the springs help but if you want to really improve the handling then i would have to move towards the the sway bars. but the eibachs will deff make the max look good. i wish i got the eibachs over the S T lowering springs. they did not lower my ride enought. thats my two cents

You talking to me? Well I live in MD so I'm not exactly close to the meet. I'm not sure how much I cut my dead coils exactly. I just made a mark and started grinding! It was probably about 5" though. You'll see the max someday. Still got lots of work ahead of me. I'm gonna start painting it this coming week. I'll try to get a pic posted with a before and after results.

No. only cut the bottom of the coil. If you cut the top you will have poor ride quality. If you cut off the dead coil at the bottom it should be plenty. If you put them on and its still not low enough. Then wait a day. You'll be amazed by how much they settle.
