How many miles daily...

How many miles daily do we put on our max's.Or weekly. And how many miles are on the Max.

Reason I ask this cause I put 56 miles round trip 5 days a week with 232000 0n my clock right now.Been doing these trips for over 3 years with my MAX. Car is running great except for the double starts I have in the morning. So im moving this week now my distance will be 140 miles round trip mostly highway. I know these cars last. But with this milage to be driven could it handle it or should I hop on the bus. Would like to know what others do and any advive would be appreciated THANKS

P.S. Next stop Middletown,NY Anybody from out there.

I currently do about 300-600 miles of driving a week. I used to put about 80-100 miles a day before when I worked farther but now I've cut down. You should be fine IMO, especially if you do routine maintenance.

Highway miles are good for it though! I dont see why you would have problems as long as you keep up with regular oil changes, spark plugs, etc...

At this rate you'll have one of the highest-mileage 3rd gens around in no time. As for myself, I take Houston's new above-ground rail to work due to the great convenience of it, so the Maxima rests under a tree for most of the week.

This time last year I was driving about 75 miles round trip to and from work daily. Then usually another 50 or so after work. When I first bought the car it was more than that...Right now I just use it to get around town, so I have to take it on the backroads and play with it (what, you think I sunk all that $$$ into mods for commuter traffic?) Still like it best on road trips! I love the fact the tach doesn't hit 3 grand until well over 80mph...

hmm...

I think the last time my car left the garage was maybe the first week in May.

I did put on a few hundred miles in April, but I didn't drive it Jan-mid April.

I think I am averaging maybe 5 miles a day, but most of those are on two trips to Eugene and Warm Springs, Oregon.

40km (~25 miles) 5 days a week, more on the weekend, and there's usually a long trip (500+km) every month. downhill in the morning, stop and go, red light green light uphill in the afternoon.

2747471 on the clock. (in KM)

Good info here Besides the beef with MYGREENMAX94 and X91MAXI Just went to 233000 this week. I know once I do the right thing with the MAX ( tune ups all that good stuff) I think i'll be alright. I understand things are gonna happen. I brought my car with 185000. Had its problems but comes with a car thats about 19 years. Time will tell. The big test will start June 9th.

Well, the last tank of gas lasted me for about a month, so avg would be ~5-10 miles a day.

HOLY SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHET, I've never had a tank last me more than a week let alone a month. Is the maxima like your weekend car or something?

No, well kind of, i live within walking distance to where i work. Also, i just start driving enjoying it again a little over a month ago. It had been in the garage for two years. I had been driving my Discovery I around, great truck but it only give you 14-15 mpg if you are easy on it. i also, had a Infiniti J30 (great car with bad seat) that i drove around in that time (which is already sold).
Which mean modding time for is the max is back on, baby!!

Next mod, subframe connector, should be here soon.
