Gauges

Does your speedometer and other gaiges work cause if they dont you might have to get a new gauge pod. otherwise if its just the light its probably located in the pod somwhere and is burnt out, also check your fuses.

I got an entire cluster out of a '93 SE for $50 at the boneyard. Every other yard wanted at leat $85. Dealer is like $550 or something. SE clusters will cost more the GXE, at least they do around here. (MN)

There are always some gauges for sale on ebay. This is prob gonna give you the best price. If you dont care what kinda gauges you get you will find the GXE's to be much cheaper. Here is a set of SE's that will prob go cheap because he spelled the title wrong. IMO the SE's look much better too.

I just upgraded mine to the SE's and it was pretty easy.

It's most likely your fuses. Look in the fuse box under your steering wheel. The instrument fuse and the taillights are all on the same fuse, so if your taillights don't work (but your brake lights do), then it's definitely your fuse. Just replace with the same amp fuse, available at any parts store. Good luck.

P.S. Sorry for the double post back there everyone.

i have had the same problem recently. i checked the fuses and it WAS the problem. if you're wondering, it is the 3rd red 10 fuse from the top on the left side that says "taillights". the only problem i still have is that every time i replace the fuse, it ends up blowing out a day and a half later again. i am thinking it is an electrical short in the system but im not sure. if anyone can help me, please do. thanks.

i hope i was of some help to the fuse problem.
