engine stalling
i just finished redoing my injectors as 2 were leaking. it was running fine with leaks but thats a big no-no. so got them in correctly with no leaks. start the car and it runs like crap. idle jumping and has mad skips. ran it down the road to see if it would clear up as it had a light skip last time i replaced injectors that went away after being opened up. this time it doesnt even want to catch idle just cranks sputters and dies already replaced coils and plugs so......
knock sensor-new
knock sensor harness-new
3 front coils-new
2 rear coils-used but from working car
1 rear coil-new
all gaskets new
injectors-used but from working vehicle
most vacuum lines-new
fuel filter-new
intake filter-new
i dont think its the coils as it doesnt shake like it did last time. it just wants to die

it starts and comes down like its going to idle but it goes right pass 700 and gets 2 like 200 and then tries then dies. sounds like i have a vacuum leak but cant find it. throttle body leak sound the same?
Have you tried a new/good used mass air flow sensor?
If not,do so..
You also may need to clean your iacv/throttle body with some throttle body cleaner, not carb cleaner..Or you may have a bad iacv/coolant temp sensor..
Any vacuum leak is going to sound the same, regardless of where it is
I wish you lived closer to me,we could swap out some extra parts i have laying around/parts off my ve until we found the problem...Maybe we can get our schedules worked out for a meet up sometime..
I am also leaning a little toward mechanical error on your part(no flame intended)you have replaced a bunch of parts on this engine, and have made some mistakes in the process, the injector leak was easy for you to see due to the gas leaking/gas odor, but their may be parts of your repair work that you have done incorrectly that you cannot see that may be causing this issue.

well prior to fixing injector it was perfect. now after having to take everything apart again it starts to fail. ill try another gasket.
with the meeting up i would b for it but cant as the car wont stay running

ok made a new gasket and it runs and holds idle for a while. but holy **** now i can hear the big problem. there is a leak or something near the front of plenum or the fuel rail or something. i torqued them down but theres something there. sounds like a lot of rushing air. car still skips so any suggestions?

Did you follow my advice from the other thread about tightening the plenum? Line it up and get the bolts in loosely everywhere, then tighten the front six, and then torque them down in proper order, then tighten the rear four.
Metal can bend so little that you wont see it, but it will be enough not to hold pressure. Thats why you have to tighten the bolts in order, and start with the right ones too.
Q: Are you making a new gasket each time instead of using the Nissan gaskets? Thats understandable because it seems like you took your plenum off a few dozen times already, but I remember you mentioned black smoke before. Is it possible that that time the gasket didnt have enough time to dry, some parts were sucked in, and burned to give the smoke?
