Hey Matt, can a VG do the Hulman 100?

Just wondering. I'm at Rose-Hulman for a summer camp and I heard about the Hulman 100. It sounded right up your alley and I was wondering if you ever did it. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, Matt can explain what it is.

Possibly.. I'm not sure.
When I was going there, I was driving dad's 92 Civic 5 spd. I hit it ONCE with many, many tries. the rest of the time I was at 96-97mph..
But then again.. are you talking the "wuss-hulman-100" or the REAL Hulman-100?
(wuss= make it to 100 when you pass the entrance, like all the Pikes think they can do.... REAL one = get to 100 and still slow down enough to make the corner into campus.
If Barituchi is still around, ask him about it.
His Cobra could get to 100 and come to a complete stop in the left turn lane before he had to turn into campus.
I doubt if a stock VG auto could do it, but a 5 spd is very likely.
For those of you who have no clue what we're talking about (not that you care anyway)...
there's a stoplight about 1/3 of a mile down the road from the entrance to Rose-Hulman.. it's the college I used to go to.. the Hulman-100 is if you can go from a complete stop at the light to 100mph and slow down enough to make the left turn into campus.

me and my friend steve(bmxsteve on the org) have something kinda like that, we turn outta his neighborhood and try to hit 60, and slow down enough to turn into a shopping center. it's not much space at all and i can barely make it. it's really fun to do!!
