Just got my 93gxe. The Dealer has a bra for my car for $75. Is it worth it? I mean are there benefits other than looks?
I'm trying to justify the purchase (to me and the wife!)

Any thoughts?

depends...

I personally don't like the way they look on the Maxima's but thats up to you. I have heard that since they hold water on that section of paint it can mess it up. And if you think about it form that scetion being out of the sun it won't discolor (fade) like the rest will and when you take it off everything will be uneven. Could be wrong so nobody shoot me up if I am. And also if u never take it off, or if it's garage kept, you prolly won't necounter those problems.

I've bought a bra for every car I owned since 84

I do this because I'm a nut when it comes to those little rock chips that sometimes cannot be avoided. I have a 97SE now with a full COLGAN bra and mirror bras too. I hate when I'm washing or waxing the car to find new chips in the paint. The only thing abot the bra I don't like is that you must or should remove it when it rains because it doesn't allow water to drain away from the body, and once the bra gets wet it tends to fit poorly until it dries again. Some don't like the look but it doesn't bother me if fact I like it.
