Need help with a problem

I have a problem with my car its a 93 gxe. The car runs like crap, What is is doing is when I start it and is in park it idles fine but once I put the car into drive the idle drops to 300-500 and it runs like its not hiting on all cylinders. But
once you get going like 45 mph its fine.

If this helps I did seafoam the car today with no difference. I was thinking about
replacing all the vacuum lines.

Start by cleaning your IACV ( about 15 mins of work) and then adjust it to idle at 750 rpm. Then come back with results.

Ok cleaned my IACV and set the idle but it would not let me set it above 650 rpms and its still not running right. My last tune up was about 3000 miles ago

You have got a bad IACV most probably.

I had that problem before and I thought IACV was bad but appearantly I jumped to conclusions too fast. So Maxpwer91 went ahead and adjusted the THROTTLE CABLE for me and voila, more responsive acceleration and idle can be actually adjusted through IACV

I was thinking it might be an injector but I was hoping for some kind of quick fix.
So how do I test the injectors.

The best way is to get a mechanic's s***hoscope (s***hoscope with a long probe on the end). Touch it to each of the injectors and listen for the clicking that means it is working. If one is bad, the clicking will be quieter since that injector isn't working and what you are hearing is coming from the other injectors. 5 out of 6 injector plugs can be reached w/o disassembling anything. Pull the plug on the one you think is bad while the car is running, and there will be no change in idle if you are correct. If it runs worse, then that injector is not the problem.

Could I just unplug the injectors one at a time instead of using a mechanic's s***hoscope?

A long screwdriver will also work, less work than removing connectors.

MAF shouldnt be a problem as a bad MAF will let you go to 2000 rpm. Dont know about your throttle cable, but may be your TPS too. But its very surprising it wont let you go above 650. try unscrewing the idle adjusting screw fully (but dont remove) Your bypass passage may be still blocked with carbon.

Theres a connector to the right (drivers side) of the intake manifold. Trace the wires for the IACV, and its the other big connector with 5 wires. You should be able to check resistance there, but you'd have to look at a diagram to know which wires to measure.
