What is the max speed you can go in each gear on the 92-94 SE?

I have a 92 SE Auto. The owner's manual says that you shouldn't exceed 41 mph for 1st gear and 74 mph for 2nd gear. I have only stretched my 1st gear to 45 mph in 1st. I could go further, but, I didn't want to stretched it that long. I am not sure how far I have pushed 2nd gear. Maybe, 73 mph. This is what I have done in my car.
