just checking on e36 conversion
ok after reading post and searching let me make sure i got this straight.
e36 conversion:
looks like if i can remember pretty much any 93-98 headlight will work. 2 dr 4 dr doesn't matter
get pigtails from autozone
euros are better because they are glass.
projectors are the best setup for HID
read the CB site and the other one with the write ups.
will they mount flush like factory?

Yeah, they definitely do NOT fit flush if you do not fabricate on some WADE or GTS clear cover lenses. The BMW Lights have a straight face, while the maxima's is slightly contoured. I got all the way to putting the E36's on my car and aligning and tightening down... but I hated the way they looked so I took it all back off, got new stock headlight brackets and put it off until I put some WADE covers on them.
If you're a perfectionist, or just like something that looks stock then you'll want it to be flush because if you leave the E36's as is it looks like crap.
I know some people on here have them on the car without any modifying and I just don't like the way it looks. Too big of a gap between the clear corner lense, they stick out in front of the grille and are either too high or too low. And there is sometimes a gap above or below them. Someone that did a good job installing the stock one's is "xx-Marshall-xx" and I still don't like it.
