I never thought I'd see normal tune-up items run higher than my RX-7 until I got the bill for tuning my '93 SE.

WTF was Nissan thinking with their prices?
~$14 per spark plug and ~$105 for an O2 sensor!

I could have gone cheap on the O2 sensor, but my mechanic cautioned me against it saying that he'd rather not install anything other than the factory issue or a Bosch.

It's a good thing I love this car so much.

This stuff better last another 100K miles.

NGK Platinum plugs are the only way to go..and they're about $8-9 each at a cheap parts store...
so nissan's not ripping you off too much.
the O2 sensor is abotu $100 even for a bosch at discount. I paid $115 for one a few months ago.

That was their price for the O2 Sensor with the club discount. Without the discount the O2 sensor would have been $142.

It won't last another 100k. The NGK plats has a change interval of 60k. O2 sensor might last 100k if the engine stays in good running condition.
