Hey guys,
A couple of months ago I asked anyone if they knew how to fix a broken odometer.. Well, saturday I took the car over to my mechanic (Darn exhaust stud bolts needed replacement) and he told me 2 ways to fix it.. The expensive way was to replace the whole dash and said it would run about $300 or I could call a junkyard and find a dash, buy it and he would install it for a minimal labor charge.. Pretty cool huh? Now I'm off to find a dash. I know some mechanics are quick to fix it their way and sometimes never give you any options.. Luckily this mechanic I deal with is always looking out for the customer. If you live in the VA Beach area it's at Accu-Tune close to the Amphib Base at Little Creek off Independence Road.

Save yourself soome money and install it yourself. It is really simple. The looms can only be be plugged in one way so that just leaves you with screws. Got a screwdriver?

Brent.

Have you confirmed it is the gauge assembly and not the speed sensor?

This is a subject close to my heart as I have spend numerous hours finally tracking down a speedo fault.

Brent.
