I had my front brakes pads and caliper spring kit redone 10K miles ago, only to find that the rotors are heavy glazed and 30% of the pads gone. It looks like new rotors and new calipers.

How can I tell it the calipers are sticking (locking)? I didn't feel much difference until the very end of the rotor. Also the car has had extensive service from both an independent (who did the breaks and 60K service) and dealer (tranny and general inspection and safety inpections).

Where can I buy a good set of new discounted rotor and calipers? Who make the Nissan rotor and calipers? I thought of new calipers since they were already rebuilt.

I'm parting out my car and have a set of good condition calipers and 2 sets of rotors that are in decent shape. I've also got a set of almost brand new OEM pads and a caliper rebuild kit (unopened)..

email me (blehm@utulsa.edu) if you're interested, and we can work out a price.
