how about spending the money to mod the max, and then keep it. car payments and higher insurance premiums are over rated.

That is what I have been saying for years...

Over my last 13 years of owning my car only 2 years was the maintence equal what a $350 monthly note in one year. Other than that its cheaper to drive my 87 max than buy a newer one. The thing is your gonna spend the same money for oil, gas, air/fuel/oil filters and tune up stuff. Now instead of just paying for that you have a monthly note.
