I pulled off all the goods off the z31. Just wanted to let you know that the 300zx is not an 85, but an 84 25th aniversary edition ( there said to only be somewhwere between 1500-2500 of these left in the U.S.) so this turbo ve will be super dupper extra special. I would like to start posting pics of my progress, so if anyone can let me know how I can post pics on this site I would appriciate it.

Much luck to you. How are you going to handle the ignition portion again? Have any ideas yet?

I dunno if you are planning to use the manifolds, but if you do, good luck.... I tried too.

czar, I might try the z31 manifold route first I got a few tricks up my sleve(possibily a seperate oil resevior, oil cooler and pump for the turbo) if that dont work ill probably use the flanges and go cast iron. Im in the army out here in hawaii, and Ill be going out on a training mission for two weeks, so when I get back Ill attempt to tackle the manifold with a bottle of asprin, a four leaf clover and a bottle of jack.

hey let me know some of the problem you encountered when you were messing with the z31 manifold, I figure we can try to work together since we are trying to achieve the same goal. Im no expert on turbos but like the saying goes two heads are better then one( unless im chill with jack, hehehe.)
