The whole purpose of a CAI is to drill a hole. You have to do it in a 3rd gen too. There are only 2 brands as far as I know. Place Racing CAI and Warpspeedperformance CAI.

Well yes that's true... but in terms of a 3rd gen max you pretty much need to drill a hole for a CAI... unless you have a hood scoop but that's another story.

Next QUestion:
I just got my CAI in the mail yesterday, and I though I could use a circular drill bit to make the hole, but I cen't. Does Hope Depot or Lowe's rent saws that I can use for this project. Also, once you put the pipe into the fenderwall, how do you attach the filter? Do you have to attack it from the wheel well? The instructions are a bit vague on that part. Thanks.

you can still use a drill. just get a 3.5" hole saw bit from sears or home depot and you'll be good to go. as for the filter yes you have to insall it from inside of the wheel well. there are screws holding the splash guard in. just remove those and peel it back and you'll see the piping come through. it's not too bad to get attached...
