91 maxima

I am thinking of buying a 1991 maxima. I went to look at it and the electric door locks were acting up. other that that it was realy nice and I realy liked it. Is the problem with the door locks a big deal and expenxive to fix? What happens is when you go to unlock the door with the key it locks the doors right away and you can't get in unless you are very fast. Then when you get out they are locked and you have to pull the lock really hard in order to get out. Any ideas. What would it cost to get that fixed?
Thanks

Door Locks
Hi Ryan,
I have the same problem with my door locks especially in a hot weather. The problem appears eventually and not often (two to four times a season for one or two days).
What about the fix costs - I've asked a guy who's busy with remote radio locks installation and he told me the expenses are negligible.
Best regards,
DDD

when i ripped my door pannels off, i noticed that if the track for the actual lock is fighting too tight or jammed it will go up and slam itself back down. The little ring around the lock try to turn that abit and play with that, if that doesnt' work try taking it off and looking inside their. but be careful because they snap easy, i broke both mine. HAHA
but check that before you go spending money on something you don't need.
Good Luck
