Hey, just a quick question. I have a cattman y-pipe on which installed without a hitch, nothing rubs or is to close. But, yesterday when I got my manifold problem fixed the guys who worked on my car all disliked my pipe. They said that it was to close to the shift linkage and that I would have problems. Something about it being to hot and to close? Can anybody expand or explain what they were talking about? I have a 92' VE 5-speed if that makes a difference. Thanks

don't worry about it.. unless the exhaust causes the metal bar on the linkage to melt, then you won't have any problems. and obviously it's not going to melt..yeah, they fit pretty close, but not much you can do about that.
