met a new maxima enthusiast at school today...
i was chillin' in my car between classes listening to an old Tribe cd and he walked past my car, looked at the front of it, then came up to my window. he drives that orange '94 with hydros, white interior, and shaved door handles, etc. done at M.I.C. that was featured in minitrukin' and lowrider magazine. he asked me about the clear corners and i gave him the number to courtesy and a maxima.org business card. he was a pretty cool guy. hopefully he will become a member of our sites. he could give us a lot of info since he had hydros installed
You talking about Ronnie Pasztor??? Hes been in a buch of mags. Did you say he "went" to your school, or you just met him "at" school. Because his ride is definitely hard to miss. Hopefully he'll join the ranks here, that would be cool.
Re: man
Actually, I live in New Hampshire, but I have seen Ronnie Pasztors Maxima in magazines for a while. It was on the cover of Lowrider Euro in 1999. That thing is so nice, I think their is a pic on Craig Braces' homepage.
yeah, it's ronnie pasztor. he probably doesn't drive his car on the streets a lot. i've only seen it on the streets once, and i live in the same city as him. i was wondering before why he didn't have clear corners on it. he said he'd been searching forever and couldn't find any. i think he goes to my school. he looked like he just got out of a class and was walking to his car. i wouldn't park that thing in our school parking lot. it would get f'd up. he said he's selling some tsw rims and asked me if i knew anybody who want rims for $450. i don't like the rims he has on his ride. i don't like the billet grille either.
man that guy has a tight car! i saw it in lowrider euro about a year ago when i was first gettin into imports. i was about to sell the max until i saw his and how tight maximas could be. i was wonderin why he didnt have clear corners either, i just figured he didnt like them. hope he comes around some time.
Yeah I think he even removed the center piece between the taillights and replaced it with a steel piece(or fiberglass) that he blended with the trunk so it looks more like a 4th Gen rear. Pretty cool idea that I considered doing but I really dodn't want to spend that much money for a mod like that.
I'd love to do that...

Re: I'd love to do that...
I am not sure of the exact cost, but it is alot of work and if done improperly will look ridiculous. I know an awesome body work guy that is building a kicka$$ truck right now with shaved everything, a bunch of cool mods, suicide doors and a whole s***load of custom paint(my dad is also a custom painter and he is helping with this project). I could probably find out an estimate if anyone is seriously interested. I am guessing between $800 to $1500 with paint if you want it done really well, but that is just a guess, could be way off.
i was gonna get that done to my car about a year ago. one of my dads friends is the body shop teacher at a local high school and he was gonna do it for free. the thing is he was gonna use the tools from the school to do it and somehow the city found out and got pissed so he couldnt do it anymore. i still wanna have that done eventually
