90' GXE vs. 93' Mazda MX-6!

Ok, heres how it wend down, I got off work, forgot my lisence at home, went back and got it then went down the street to my friends house. (Hes been wanting to race me for a little while now)

We went to a barely used street right by a small airport with about a 1/4 strip. This was my first time racing so I was kinda scared. One of our other friends got out and waved us down and we flew. Of course I started out ahead and kept that way until I was about 1 or 2 car lengths ahead. Keep in mind that my car is totally stock while his has intake and exaust. Yes I know that my engine is bigger and everything , but i do have more weight on my car.

The reason I am so excited is becuase this kid goes around saying "my car is so fast." I just wanted to show him. And it was my first time racing. Thx to tthe people that read this whole thing, I had to let out my joy somewhere.

Power to the GXE

I've beat a few vehicles thus far in my 90 GXE which is also Stock.

92 Honda Accord V6
91 Toyota Camry
99 Mercury Cougar... lol... He got stuck behind some traffic, so basically I won! ROFL!

Im working on it man. I need to finish paying off my car first thought. I owe about $1,300 more. Tomorrow, Im cutting that amount in half and then in about a month I'll be able to begin the process.

First, I need to do some repairs:
-2 Fuel Injectors
-Punctured Power Steering Pressure Hose
-Catalytic Converter
-Tune-Up
-Brakes
-Other Misc. Basic Maintenance

Then:
-New Exhaust
-Eibach Springs
-Tokico Shocks
-Trans. Cooler
and i'll take recomendations on "go fast" mods...

When did you get your maixma? How much for? What are it's stats?

Well, like I said I have modded nothing yet but im gunna put in intake tomarrow.( i would advise that for "going faster") gives you a little umph. My stats? whatcha mean? I have raced a 85 Golf and a 90 eclipse but thats nothing to talk about.

Was it a V6 or 4?

He's got a 4 banger, and I dont lie. He also knows how to shift very well.

The V6 beat me top end, i had a nice little lead but as we got faster he reeled me in

There were....

no V6 Accords until 97(170hp) any '90+ Accord before 97 is 140hp 4 cylinder.

The V6 Accords came out in '95.

ive raced the V6....won one, lost one....the first time...i gt a good take off, and pulled in 3rd...(i have exhaust, intkae).....the 2nd time, got ****ty take off, and got destroyed....the V6 version of this car is quick..dont undereatimate it.....!!
