I guess Ill be moving up to the 4th gen forums.

Well my car is about a 1/4 of the way into becoming a money pit. Needs two new axels and the manifold is cracked or the studs are broken. I blew a hole in the exhaust right before the flex pipe under the heat sheild. Now it has started to tick ( I think its a belt or pulley though ) but im just about to hit 109k. But on the other hand its got a perfect body and brand new diamond pearl paint job which I love. and i just got rims, but thats not a Prob since I sell them now. so mabey ill go 18" on the 4th gen. I love the shape of my max and im not really crazy about 4th gens but the sarona kit looks hot. Im probably gonna get a 95 96 se 5spd (30 more hp than now) and altezzas :P (j/k)
I can sell the max with rims for 6 or 5 1/2 or 5 or 4 1/2 without them. so I can probably afford a 95 with ok millage.
The earliest I can get the pipe fixed is tuesday then ill detail it and put for sale signs on it. oh well

 

OWTCH!! You're the 2nd person that I've seen with the pearl paint job that's had a run of bad luck with their Max (see *block*). Well, if you migrate to a 4th Gen, don't forget about your 'buds' in the 3rd gen forums, ok??

 

but if I could afford to keep two cars on the road i would keep the max and totally redo it but my insurance is like 2800 with one max so mabey one day ill buy a 94 se. which if I could find one (94 se 5spd) i would just get it but I have had no luck.

 

Have U checked the For Sale forum? I thought I saw at least a '93 SE for sale there. Don't know if it was a 5 speed or not, but it's a thought.....

 

its got to be a 94 190 hp and lower miles

 

uhhh, the 92 through 94 SEs all have the VE engine. the only difference will be the year on the title, and the mileage. all other options were exactly the same between 92 and 94.
