Good news, finally found out that the steering shaking and exhuast splatter I have been having was found to be caused by a failed fuel injector, thus running on 5 cylinders. Got the injectors out and got them tested on the machine for around $90 (in Australia).

Bad news, new Nissan injector cost $309 (Australian), there was a after market one available for around $100-200, but thought better be safe and go with the original parts.

Now I think I owe some one $20 for saying that it was the injectors.....
