i have some new info on that maxima. a guy named Ron owns it and lives in the same city as me, and used to go to the same community college. but he sold it to some high school kid in the same city(irvine, CA). those damn rich kids driving around here in dropped expeditions, etc.!@!! anyways, my friend, kris from zr motorsport, basically lives across the street from this kid, and i guess he parks it outside all the time. this kid obviously doesn't know how lucky he is, and i wouldn't be surprised if the car ends up ruined from a car accident or lack of care. sorry, a little venting here...

Are you sure it's the same one I'm talking about? Do you think you can find out a web site or maybe take some pics of it or something? Some more info would be muy bueno.

are you talking to me? i'mm sure it's the same maxima you're talking about. i've read magazine articles on it and i see it on the road like once a month. since i rarely see it and i never have a camera with me, it's pretty much impossible for me to take some pics of it. it's the same orange one that's on craigs site.

hey craig, what foglights do you have? are they the stock se's? i remember kaleb saying there were ones that were for the gxe that were a little smaller than the se's.

I have stock SE lights

they do have a "GXE" foglight kit that are a little shorter
Mike S has them on his 93GXE and they look pretty nice
http://www.geocities.com/mikes93maxima/
on that page, his is the ruby one with fogs and Z wheels that look sweet
he got them from Courtesy Nissan; here's what he said before on another bbs:
"Courtesy originally goofed and sent me the replacement se fogs and not the replacement gxe. Either way, the 69 kit comes with both lights, and the wires and relay. The install kit(bracket, inside switch is 12 bucks) but you don't need that unless your mounting bracket got bent. I'd actually get the gxe fog b/c its more slimline and the light output/beam is the SAME. If you look at the se fog, the upper portion of the glass is clouded/blocked so no light comes out of there anyways."

Ronnie Pastor's '90 Max

The site you are looking for is http://www.masterimagecustoms.com/ They are good FABRICATORs, key word. As you know 3rd generations susupension are messed up when it comes to lowering them. Believe me, I have a lot of knowledge with this. I tried installing an air bag set up in my ride. It was NICE. I liked it a lot. Ronnie's old Max has a hydraulic set up. My problem was the fabrication. Sean Mahaney at Master Image Custom in Placentia, California is the man. He know how to fabricate the suspension, (714)970-9488. The billet grill was also customized. I live in San Diego. I am planning on doing more to my max in the future. I already spent close to ten G's on my ride. Well let me know if you need anything else. I have the magazine Ronnie's car came out in if u want to see pics let me know.

I was looking at Craig's site, and I've always been meaning to ask about the polished VG engine and the 2 door maxima's. ...were those ever available? and what does that vg have for mods? It looks like its got some major upgrades. can someone fill me in?

the 2 door maximas are all photoshop
Nissan never made a Maxima coupe; the early generations (1&2) did have a wagon though

as for the polished/chrome VG, it's a custom turbo job
check out www.boosted-maximas.net for a few more pics of it and other turbo maximas

Do you know if they have ever fabricated a coil-over system for the 3rd gen? I would guess if they can do a Hydraulic system, a coil-over job wouldn't be too hard....

just a thought.

coilovers would be useless on the rear. it'd be impossible to get to the top of the rear struts to adjust the height.
