Hey guys, I am a downhill skiier, and well its a pain in the @ss to put my skis in the car with teh fronts of them to close to the front trim for comfort, so I am going to get a ski rack. Does anyone know of what kind fits our cars? Has anyone ever removed that little plastic behind the middle folddown rest so you can put things through the trunk?? Lemme know...

 

there are little clips, you can undo them and that plastic piece will move right out of the way. I can't remember how it is fastened on the bottom though. If you wanted to remove it for good that wouldn't be hard either, it's just like cardboard.

Yeah I just knocked out the cardboard thing and stick my skis through there (but now there's a speaker box in the way) Oh well, I did tons of skiing last year, this year I am working full time on top of school, so the only skiing I'll do is over the winter break.

 

I think I may have to bust out that little plasic thing now.

I havent been skiing in quite a while. How about a NW Max/ski meet?!?

 

I think that i am gona have to bust out that little plastic thing as well, but then again I may just get a ski rack and put them up there, which would be much easier, but slow me down Also I think that would be a really good idea, is to have a Ski/Max meet.... we should set that up... I am sure i could get some people to come, they dont have maxes but they want one bad....
