Question About Window Tint

Hi, I recently got my windows tinted in my Max. I was just wondering if anyone has had problems with the back tint when using the rear window de-fogger? Does anybody know if I might bubble up or do anything? Because I dont want to ruin the tinting. Thanx!!!

There should be no problem. But, do not use Windex or any other window cleaner that has amonia in it, it will destroy your tint! I just had to rip all my tint out becuase of using Windex, I didn't know any better. BTW, anyone know how to take the glue off the back glass. I called the tint company that I bought the glue cleaner off of and they are supposed to fax me the destructions, they've not.

Have you tried asking a tint place about it? I tried to take some tint off of a car a few years ago and was not successful so my solution would be to ask someone who puts it on... By the way, I had really dark tint and never saw bubbles and my rear defrost never failed

Just don't run it for long periods of time, and you should be cool if you have a decent quality tint. No problems on either one of my cars.....
