coilovers?

coilovers?

looking for coilovers...no luck! kinda curious if any other nissan's such as the altima have similar suspension to 3rd gen max. cannot find a drop more than 2"! any info would be greatly appreciated!

I tryed to get some made (Cattman) but its VERY EXPENSIVE

due to the suspension geometry and the way the rear struts are designed on our cars, it'll be almost impossible for 3rd gen coilovers to be made, unless they're ridiculously expensive.

That was just IF it could be done, that was my guess at a number, due to the increase in parts cost over 3rd/4th gen suspension parts..

i.e. we'd need camber plates for the front and rear, and all-new struts on the rear.. none of this modifying an eclipse strut to work on the fronts like on the 4th gens.
oh well.

Yeah, I asked Brian about getting the KYB AGX's for 3rd gen's, but he said there is NO application for us. And trust me, he looked.....

Ya'll got it wrong. The reason Bryan won't make coil overs for us is because there is no externally adjustable rear struts available. For the Koni's you have to take the whole thing off which is a *****. Other than that the rear wheels are very close to the struts and don't offer much space between the perch and the wheel.
