Update on coolant leak...

OK... I think I found the leak... but I don't know if it is a major problem or not... The leak is coming from one of the Heat core hoses (not the rubber hose part, but the metal pipe coming out of the block. Right where one of the pipes conects with the block it is leaking. I'm not sure if it is the in or out for the heating core. Has anyone seen this before... and do you know if it is a major problem to repair???

Yep... It was the heat core system... Thanks for giving me the idea to look there... I was busy looking under my car when I needed to be looking under the hood at the upper part of the block. Thanks... Now I just need to know it I can replace that metal tubing going into the block...

Re: Re: Update on coolant leak...

No... The metal tubing going in to the engine. There are 2 hoses that come out from the fire wall to the engine (One to the heat core the other from the heat core) One of these hoses is leaking... It is not the rubber part of the hose that is leaking but a metal pipe sticking out from the top of the engine block (that contacts to the hose) is leaking... possibly a crack... My question is can these pipes be unscrewd from the engine and replaced?
