Rubbing While shifting into 4th

Just recently, I have started to feel a slight rubbing in my shifter when I try to shift into 4th gear. That is the only gear it does it in. Sometimes it won't do it if I shift extremely slowly.

It kind of feels like that rubbing that happens when the clutch is not all the way in and you try to shift, but it's in, and it only happens going into 4th. Any ideas?

do you have a stock shifter?

hit any big bumps lately, or change the exhaust?

when I installed my short shifter, it hit the heat shield above the cat and I had to pull it off and "modify" it with a hammer to make a bump for the shifter to work... mine still rubs on it in 3rd and 4th..

leave the engine off and have someone shift it around while you're under the car, and see if you can figure out where the rubbing's coming from.
