K&N vs. JWT vs. Stillen

Anyone know if there is really a difference between the K&N intake/filter or the JWT pop charger?
I have a chance to buy a K&N one for about $40 less then the JWT...should I go for it? Will it give the same sound/performance?

NOT a drop-in

One more thing...the K&N is not a drop in..it's a real cone filter.
So I'm comparing the JWT pop charger to the K&N Cone filter.
