who has most miles?
I am curious as to how many miles some of you have on your cars. Would like to keep it at least 10 years. Also, how would you rank your driving pattern. 1. Hard on it (redline it everyday), 2. Medium (redline every once in awhile), 3. Conservative. Details are welcome.
Thanks...

94 GXE with 179k. Only things that have been done to the car are tires, a ball joint, timing belt, brakes, and a radiator hose. I had to add steering fluid one time too. Oil changes every 5k or so.
It hasn't been driven too hard in a while.

I have a 93 SE with 137,000. I had a bearing replaced in the tranny at about 100k and a clutch at about the same. I failed to change the throttle body sensor at 90k and changed it just recently. My driving is probably 2 and early on, between 1-2. Oil changes regularly and have always used Mobil 1 synthetic. I think this oil had some to do with the longivity of the car. I would not hesitate to drive it cross-country even with the miles it has.
I've got 177k on my '94 GXE, change the oil every 3k and never burns a drop. I'm pretty heavy on the throttle, about 1/3 throttle during acceleration. About once a week I hold it wide open for a bit, usually letting up slightly near the redline so the tranny can shift under less pressure. I'm not sure why, but I just feel a motor should run wide open on a regular basis, maybe someone can chime in and tell me if this right or wrong. I've done nothing more than scheduled maintenance on this car.
