Spoked wheels does not make "eye-candy". For me they are "eye-sores". It is like painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa. The worst one I have seen is 20 inch wheels, damn it looked they were planning to drive the car off road.

Give me clean original parts!

I just had a moment of nostalgia so I came back to check out the forums. I just traded my maxima in for a 2005 Nissan Xterra. It has been a good run with the maxima for the past 9 years.

Its been 3 years since I donated my 3rd gen maxima. I've been thinking of picking up another one and fixing up nicely.

goon9, benstoked

It'll be in a few years, and when I do it, it'll have a rebuilt motor, tranny and suspension.

Until then, i don't miss having to rebuild CV boots and axles. I don't have to worry about them on my RWD cars!

but i don't rebuild. i just get the whole axle assembly, and install.
everything new/rebuilt. much easier and cleaner.

I feel compelled to add mine into the mix.

Mind you, that was when it was just on the bottle. After the bumper bar gets a little work to hide the intercooler, followed by a full respray, replacing all trims and whatnot, I'll have another pic but that might be about November if the other motor gets done on time.

It'll probably cost about $2500, I don't really need one, I won't drive it most of the year, I'd rather have a motorscooter.

I dunno, maybe

tempting but wouldn't really want to put much money into it, one thing leads to another which leads to another . First it's this, then it's Koni's to replace blown struts and a VE isn't a VE without a Fidanza and blah blah blah.

Still tempting

Thanks Colin. Looks good. Still going to get a set of 18's for the spring for her, along with a drop. And a few other things in mind on the modification side.

How's the 5th gen holding up? Looked good the last time I saw it.
