i just polished and waxed it before the pic. it has a lot of little dings and scrathes when you look close. i might get a paint job next year. like a light forest green or something.

i just like my ride to smell good all the time thats all. they look kinda kool anyways.

so what happened to your other car?
well my old baby, the jetta, was stolen from my in may. they took the rims system the grill and the taillights and then they burned it. that car was the **** for real. instead of buying a brand new car and getting in debt again. i bought an older maxima, ive always loved them. luckily i was able to find one in stick. so now i still have a nice car, maybe not as tight as the jetta but still pretty sweet, and i got money invested with no debt. i am very happy with my maxima and i am glad to see a maxima site where owners can discuss their problems, experiences, and opinions.

i want to put a computer in my trunk and have a screen where yours is but first things first. fuel pump. then clutch, then struts/springs. then i can attempt to setup a stereo
if you dont mind my asking, how many MP3's does the player hold? or does it use MP3 CDs. how much did it cost?

There are people out there with that setup with the computer mp3 and all I just dont know how to do it exactly. and I questiont he life span as the hard drive would probably crash from the vibration/moving/driving.

I bet there is a way out there to play MP3's through a prompt application like DOS so booting shouldn't be that horrendous

it wasnt that hard.. i broke out the jigsaw and the deck has the right amount of space. i control the mp3s with a remot for the dvd player.. not touchscreen unfortunatly.. and i placed the remote sensor behind that little dashed opening in the dash to the left of the radio, so you cant see it but you point the remote there and it works.. the dvd picture quaility for the price of the monitor is great, and for the size, its pretty clear. can easily read all subtitles and everything. pretty cool little gadget. was watchin RONIN in there the other day, good movie to watch in a car haha.. i dont watch while i drive though, i dont feel like crashing heh..

alright, what size is the monitor? 5.8"? i was looking through crutchfield and saw the MP3/DVD unit w/o monitor.
i wonder if i could mount the monitor on a stand that swivels and folds down. my friend had something like this only it was a cupholder in his altima. i'll see what i can do, thanks for all the help.

mines only 5" but a bigger one will fit.. it just makes the case thinner.. my monitor came with that stand too that you can swivel, but i didnt want to mount it on top of my dash, too obvios asking to get stolen. i still have it connected to the stand just in that hole in the dash, it doesnt swivel though its just stationary where it is..
