I'm going to replace my tachometer pretty soon (thanks capedcadaver). I always wanted those fancy glowing gauges, so i thought this might be the best opportunity to do just that. i found this link on ebay :

Does anyone have any experience with these gauges? are they worth it?

Hmm does anyone know how to install them too? cause the seller is telling me it doesnt include any installating instruction.

reverse glow looks better than full glow. white face with light coming through the back at night. (stock on SEs). Full glow is kindof distracting.

also is are these basically plug and play? or do i need to connect it to the battery wire etc? or does it just connect to the harness?

 

He's talking about SE Gauges. Full white face with the 194 bulb color of your choice as a background color that shines through. Looks better than those cheap ricey looking ebay one's.

if you got a 3rd gen... stick with some sort of OEM 3rd gen gauges. Anything else just looks stupid.

 

I just happen to have some 145mph SE gauges for sale if you are interested. All you gotta do is buy some Red/Blue whatever 194 bulbs at your local autoparts store and you're set.

Wow those look sweet too. Ive already bought the reverse glow gauge this morning for like 44 dollars and a .org contacted me to buy one for 20 dollars which is brand new in original box. I tried to contact the site i bought it from..but they already shipped mine out i wanna jump off a bridge now..lol. Next time i will post in the buy/sell section before i buy anything.
