I found a cheap new 99 OEM altenator I was going to buy as a spare for mine... but my junk box's altenator died... and I was wondering if I could just bolt the 99 to the 92 and maybe change a belt or something... anybody have any thoughts or both altenators handy??

Not gonna happen dude,the clocking positions of the mounting bolts are reversed,and the plug in connector is different also
