Odd Shift Interlock Prob
I noticed that shift interlock seems to work fine. If the car is off, the shifter is locked. When I start it, it is locked until I step on the brake. However, after starting the car, if I let it run for about 15-20 seconds I hear a click and the lock is disengaged and I don't have to step on the brake to get it out of park. It doesn't bother me but wondered what would cause this.

a sensor or harness could have been undone accidentally when you did that. You may want to make sure that all 4 harnesses are hooked up and all.

I have this same problem when i would put my foot on the brake after starting the car it would click like crazy and i could normally get it into gear and then it just stopped
so i have to manually put it into gear now where is the controller at?

Mine has a similar problem, only works when ignition is on. I can shift the car into gear with the key out of the ignition, it makes a loud click when i push the button. Could end up being a safety issue if someone messes around with it

shift lock should only actuate when car is in the ON position (whether running or not), in park, foot on brake. shifter button should not push in when you have the key out or foot off brake, while in park. of course it will push if you are not in park, because the lock only works in park (after you let go once, of course)
