Few Questions?

I've notice people taking lots of parts of infinites and other Nissan cars. I wanted to know.If there are any other options. For seats and center consoles. Is there a way to remove the fabric portion of our door panels?

Definitely. A lot of people have changed these door inserts. Most rip the old fabric out and adhere a custom cut piece of fabric in place.

Mike (Candiman) comes to mind as one of the first guys to do this a LONG time ago.

To me it looks like the panel itself comes off though. How would you be able to rip the whole piece off with out damaging the panel. I was thinking about taking it to some interior guys but, I am a diy type guy. I was looking on car domain at the g20s and the j30t and the 45s and man most I say those seats are *****ing.

I've never done the job before. But you have to physically RIP the fabric out. I believe it's glued into place. So rip it all out and then cover it with new fabric. And upholstery shop will be able to do a flawless job with it.

Don't think he did. But there have been some really awesome seat covering installed. Chris91SE comes to mind. He got a full leather conversion kit that looks AMAZING! Look into that. I remember him getting the leather material from a website... something like leatherseats.com. I don't know if that's a legit site, but it's something simple like that. Hopefully, someone else will chime in. I'm not really an interior and cosmetics guy. I'm all about engine performance and 1/4 mile times.

I hear you... I want to get into that also but, to me pretty much standard for this family car. I wanna get a 96 9c1 and drop an ls7 and tranny in it for the get up you know. I never realized what a gem I was sitting on.

I remember some guy selling his max a while ago had 4th gen tan leather in his VE. It looked pretty nice, but I've heard this was a downgrade as far as comfort goes, I'm not sure, I've actually never sat in a 4th gen with Leather.

Regardless, your best bet might just be to reupholster (Or get a shop to) and insert heaters while you're there...

the 4th gen seats are a bit more americanized than the 3rd gen so they aren't as supportive, but they are more comfortable.

The rear inner brackets on the q45 are vertical and bolt to the center bump in the car as opposed to the third gens flat on floor bracket.

If I'm bored enough and have time I can get some pics when I'm at the JY
