Valve cover moddys

I've seen some Maxima Nuts with chrome valve covers. Iv'e also seen the blacked out ones. OK not here is the question. Does having you vavle cover plated in chrome increase heat retension? I hope I spelled that right.

Yes it does, but it would probably never be an issue on a street driven V6 Maxima.

Black painted engine parts are the best for heat dissipation, but they aren't really attractive though. Chrome them if you like.

I think since I going with a black and white theme, I'll shoot it glossy black and white the lettering. Thanx guys.
