Fuseable Links

How do you check the fusable links in the engine compartment?

Feel free to be ridicioulsy detailed, i don't mind!

: )

thanks.

-Kev

ALSO: I checked the voltage of the battery. It was 12v. When the car was on it was actually also 12v or even a little LOWER (11.7, 11.8v). Does this point to a failure of the alternator? If so, where i that, how do i check it? Lemme know what you all think and if ya have any related thoughts.

thanks again

Yes, sounds like dead alternator. Voltage should be in the low 14s when running.

Do you have a Factory Service Manual? It has details on how to check each relay.
