check out your local advance auto i just recently ordered a
rebuilt 5 speed tranny and it runs better than my original tranny
The cost is $1200.00 plus your $400.00 core charge so your total will
be $1750.00 with which you will get back $400 when you bring back your old tranny. I donot recomend rebuilding your old tranny because it could easily cost as much as buying a rebuilt unit. A used tranny from a salvage yard usually doesn't have a warranty and there is no real way of telling how many miles it may have on it, and your only other choice is the local Nissan dealership which it could easily cost you well over $2000.00 for a brand new transmission. I got a 15 month, 15,000 mile warranty on the tranny i got from advance auto. Hope this helps you out!
