non airbag wiring to airbag wiring

non airbag wiring to airbag wiring
Ok, so I made a post a while back about changing from a non airbag wheel (89) to a steering wheel with an airbag (93). I have everything necessary to install it, even the connection for the airbag connector. The only problem is wiring. I don't know which wire corresponds with which (with the exception of maybe the horn, those two I could probably figure out. I'm just trying to figure out which five wires are the cruise control wires. I finally managed to get pictures of the current wires I have in my car (non airbag) and the wires of the other connector for the airbag wheel. I've been told that the wiring colors are the same for both airbag and non airbag, but clearly, there is a difference in colors. If someone could help me cross reference them, I can finally get this crappy star trek looking wheel out.

I've checked the FSM from a 94, and can't see a difference between airbag and non airbag (by means of color). Other replies from my first thread said that the colors were the same, clearly this is not the case. I'm hoping that with some help on here, and using the FSM I can figure out which wires correspond with what.

The non airbag wheel can be done that way. The airbag one, however, is like a computer cable. The connection from the car to the steering wheel is the one I pictured, but the actually wiring in the steering wheel is a cable. I'll try to take a pic to show what I mean.

The bag is going to stay disconnected indefinitely. No airbag computer on this car. Plus, I plan on soldering just the little cable I have shown in the second pic, THEN plugging it into the steering wheel, with the airbag disconnected.

Remember the bag doesn't need the computer to deploy. All it needs is a 12v power source. Thats what the computer does is send that 12V charge to the bag. We have popped a bunch of bags for ***** and grins using speaker wire and a jump box at my buddie's shop.
