Interchange parts?

Is there (=where?) a interchangeability resource [online] for 3gen maxima - like this http://www.hollanderinterchange.net/...auto_links.php

429$ is rather steep price buying blindfolded - when u even dont know if contents meet the needs:

I'd like to get comparison table(s) for 'any parts' ... just for future needs to keep costs down. For example rear strut inserts; "50% off" if u buy Stanza (needs a filler washer). Maybe later also A/T parts.

http://www.transtarindustries.com/ca...oad.asp?ID=357 -file blew my complicator to bits, no comprende...

I guess smbdy knows what kind of parts info is inside hollanderinterchange 'manual'? Does it have anything Maxima -related?

There seems to be lots bits that wear out ... interchangeable with other japanese especially Stanza/Bluebird -or- easily to be converted. From ball joints to hinges... Such list might help keep 3rd generation rolling. This problem is acute here in EU where these ol-dies are taxed and axed as luxury items

my computer asked to save the link as a pdf... try foxit-reader or adobe acrobat reader.
(the foxit is a smaller download, but sometimes misses the "good" stuff adobe throws in for another 40 mb. download.) and it saves default to "RE4f02A.pdf"....score 1 for IE7, which brings the total to 234,543,543,^10000000 to 2, firefox winning....

Luckily that GP-current problem isn't currently acute: been sitting in a shed for ten yrs. Yesterday I tried whole day to find facts on the 1943 DC-alt from net sites ... no success.

Whatever, my VW vanagon -82 1.6D keeps going healthy with original 35A AC-alternator, like the Stanzas with 65A. Good batt, healthy wirings is the key.

just keep in mind that, that info might not always have every thing in it. i.e. i once had a 83 200sx (z22 motor) needed a tranny so i found a king cab (KA 24 motor) and its a direct fit so i get it in and get ready to drive and find out that my front caliper is shot, so i pull the one off the truck (it's a bit heaver) and bolt it right on the 200sx.

it really helps if you have a nissan parts guy that has been around since the 80s too.

most front nissan calipers have the same bolt spacing where they mount. it's the curve to clear different size rotors and rotor offsets that change them.

yes i understand that hence the i.e. it was one of those hey i lucked out and it worked so i don't have to spend more money that i don't have to get my $500 car on the road. any ways my point is i bet that, that is not in the book as working, just like when i went to buy brake pads for my 85 i asked the guy about G20 pads and he told me they would not work. so some times it pays to take the time and a tape measure and maybe start a list some where (well there is some started) cuz where would we be if it wasn't for that first person that went "I wonder if those 300z brakes will fit?" just like i wonder if the R200 differential out of my pathfinder will fit in my tranny if i change the ring gear.
