What mods would have to happen for Q45 calipers to fit a 92se?

Buy Q45 calipers, pads, and rotors...turn about 3mm off of the rotors, cut a notch in the pad shims for proper clearance...lather, rinse, and repeat...

I heard you can use maxima pad, rotors, and g45 calipers. Maybe Greeny can elaborate?

Yes they will fit, as long as you don't run your pads all the way down to the squealers. About 1/3 pad material left is as far as you would want to go. you also have to do a little dremel work on the maxima torque member.

I done this as a test just see if it could be done, then just left them on..

I don't know the exact details involved in the z32 caliper swap, but the q45's will bolt up to the maxima torque member with minimal work. just a little grinding on the torque member, along with some pad shim modifications. In the end, this mod is still in the testing stages for me, i am still monitoring how far the maxima pads can go before the caliper pistons are at their travel limit. So no golden seal of approval from me atm.
