Replacing rocker cover gaskets. what else should I do?
I am about to replace both Rocker cover gaskets on my VG to fix a couple of oil leaks. Since I will need to remove the plenum, is there anything else I should think about changing while I am there? Obviously I will be installing new gaskets on the plenum, and i was thinking of replacing the rubber fuel hose between the fuel rails as it has never been done.
Is there anything else anyone can suggest? perhaps give the inside of the plenum a good clean? Should I replace the o-rings on the injectors, or should I leave them be if they aren’t leaking?

-Plenum and upper intake manifold gasket
-EGR valve gasket (x2),Vacuum hoses (use cut to fit hose)
-Clean throttle body with carb cleaner and replace gasket
-adjust timing since you'll be pullin distributor off, screw making the rotor position
-Replace fuel injection hoses with fuel injection hoses (use NEW fuel injection CLAMPS)

I'm doing this also this weekend. Gaskets, distributor, rotor, plugs and wires are waiting at Courtesy. Going to pick up on Sat. Figure I can just run to Autozone once everything is off and I see how much hose I might need.
So the EGR and adapter can come off as 1 piece?

Yea, but why not replace a gasket thats 2 bucks at most perhaps even a dollar at most...
Why cheap out on something that is perhaps original to save a buck or two? Not saying that its wrong but thats just me...I try to replace as much as I can when its cheap and I'm there.

What hose does everyone else use?

pcv to valve cover hose I had to get brand new from dealer as it was cracked badly. I paid 20 bucks locally for it. by replace vac hoses with cut to fit I was referring to all the tiny lil ones you'll have access to while everything is off. Just pull one by one and cut to that same measurement,
