I know I could have added this to Aaron's thread about it, but too bad 
I got my SS mandrel bent Y from http://www.warpspeedperformance.com
this pipe was used by dmontzmax for about a week but he had slight fitment problems due to his automatic so WSP cut me a great deal on it
It looks very nice and I was impressed with it when it came to my door.
I tried to install it this weekend, but even with Liquid Wrench and my dad's impact wrench, those bolts weren't moving. So I took it to a small auto repair shop that a local .org member (Ramius83) recommended to me. For only $50 they put it on. The guy struggled for a while with the bolts too, but finally got them off and got the new pipe on within an hour. He basically used the same tools I had but was a lot more persistant and also they had a lift which is a LOT easier than working on your back under the car on jackstands. It was definitely worth the $50.
It was a great time to mod because my stock pipe has several leaks that make it pretty loud (ask Killermove and Jason F about that) which the mechanic pointed out to me after it was off too.
The new Y sounds sooooo much better. It's actually a little quieter than my stock pipe was because I had those leaks. Otherwise, it would probably add a very small amount of noise, but that's not a bad thing. This isn't one of those "hey look at my $5 exhaust tip that I got for my 1.8L 4cylinder"; it really sounds nice.
As for power, the car does seem slighty faster. I feel it most in the mid RPM range (3k-5k or so). It's not like I added a turbo or anything like that, but the difference is definitely noticable.
Overall: definitely worth it - especially considering I needed a Y anyway. WSP was very helpful. I talked to Dallas a couple times and he's a very cool guy. He kept making fun of Dan's old "new" Supra that he bought a little while ago

they adjusted it a little now so it should probably work on an auto too now
I dont know the difference between a 5spd and auto as far as that fitment issue is concerned, that's just what donald and WSP had told me, but so far so good for me

also, I just went out and looked under my car and the pipe has a good 2 inches above the sway bar so it's definitely not a problem now

in the mean time, they added a new flex section (standard on all their latest pipes; it supposedly stops that bees in the can sound of other Ypipes) and they also fixed the clearance issue by moving the flanges slightly (taking them off, cutting and rewelding on)
get one now, prices are low enough now and you'll regret not doing it sooner when you do it in the spring; but if $$ is an issue now, you'll just have to wait
I have an Auto VE and my WSP Y-pipe is about a whole inch above the sway bar. The way WSP has designed them lately is to keep them above the sway bar enough not to bang against it. The pipe is working great for me.

You're probably right. That's what Jeff was telling me at the Woodbury Commons meet this past Saturday too. I wanted to get a 2002 6sp SE next year, but some things are undergoing major changes in my family and it may need to wait another year.
Alright Craig, I am glad you got the pipe on. And with the auto y pipe thing. I was one of the first to buy the Y for the auto VE. And have talked with Dallas many of times on trying to solve the clearance problem I was having. Everyone should rest assured knowing the clearance is not a problem. Just look at aaron he just bought that pipe and has no problems at all.

I had to respond about my "new" car. Yes, Dallas has been giving me some S*H*I*T about my 87 Supra Turbo, 5 spd. I bought her from the original owner in excellent condition. Performance mods have increased RWD H/P to 340 last dyno. With a little luck he may have to eat his words when I kick his Corvettes A*S*S, the next time we meet.MKIII Supras are highly modifiable, especially with a turbo upgrade. New turbo, fuel injector upgrade, Lexus airflow meter and electronic boost controller to be in by spring, she should dyno in at 400+ h/p. Some of the Supra boys have 450+ h/p. Put it this way, you will be the first to know when she road kills his Corvette.
BTW my 93 SE is still my favorite daily driver, no plans to sell her.

Nice to hear you feel a good power increase. I will tell Dallas about your web page. Nice attention to detail, a must see for all who have install questions.

Actually it should be the other way around. 400 series stainlesses are very corrosive resistant and the least likely to have any magnetic properties. Some of the cheap 300 stainlesses are slightly magnetic although most people assume that if it's stainless steel that it won't be magnetic at all. Whoa! Totally different from what the machining manuals say, but whatever. Where we seem to have had a misunderstanding was that I didn't mean to imply that all 300 series stainless is cheap, or that anything made out of it is. I was referring to the source of the material. Sometimes a 300 series stainless will be slightly magnetic if its from a low quality import source. We've gotten imported measuring instruments that were made of 303 or 304 and aren't supposed to be magnetic, but sometimes are.
