KYB or Tockico??????

KYB or Tockico??????

Should I go with KYB or Tockico gas shocks? which is better?

I would suggest doing a search of previous posts in this forum.

I like my KYB's, and they were $82 cheaper total than Tokicos(bought a FSTB with the savings). I've put about 10k miles on them, and all is well. Like I said check some other posts. Don't be afraid to read.

I think the KYB's are more of a OEM replacement while the tok's are a high perf. oriented setup.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

thats what "people" say, but the differences in final performance/quality when using aftermarket springs has yet to be proved!

I've had a set of Tokico blues on my car for years now. It needs new ones and I'm not switching.

Well i haven't read much about them on the org (search=not much usefull results). I did go to their website and read about them and they mentioned nothing about perfromance.
But you're saying they are tokico level shocks? I was thinking about buying a set but i noticed they weren't perf. oriented like their AGX's.

KYB doesn't make the AGX's for the 3rd gen.

kyb gr2 = tokico blue

according to the speed shops around here.
