I know I asked this before, but I am a little apprehensive as to how to get at this fan switch. I don't want to break apart my dash. Here is a pic of my dash and some of my questions.

the radio bezel comes off then there are 4 bolts that hold the climate head in.
I pulled the radio out so I could lower the control head into that space and disconnect the cables and harnesses.

ok, that was my next question. I got the damn switch out. I had to break the whole switch apart. It melted the plug and the switch together. Didn't know how to get that control panel out. Let me try to push it back and down. I think the nub that controls my fan switch busted off. What do I do if that is the case? It has like a u shaped hook that snaps onto the switch control behind the control head. I think the round piece fell off somewhere.

I guess I kinda figured it out. There are kinda like hooks or l shaped pieces of plastic on the control panel underneath where the switch mounts up in there. Somehow they were broken off. I didn't do it. I think I'm just going to super glue the switch up in there I thought it wouldn't stay because of the **** or whatever. It just requires a very tight fit.
