Update on VE in 200sx?

Anybody know what happened with this? Judging by the guys sig, or the fact that thread never progressed, seems like he figured out the true nature of his dilemma. Why in the world did he decide to go for the VE out of all engines anyway?

Without reading the thread I would have to guess it may have to do with clearance issues. The VE's valves are at a smaller angle I believe so that it could fit under our hood. Or maybe he just heard of the impressive VE POWAH.

Yeah I read that a while ago, it sounded like fun and he seemed to know what he was up to. If he ever finishes, kudos! If not, well the VE remains a niche engine.

Hm, I see. Guess only way to really know is to ask the man himself. Alot of crazy swaps goin on at that Z site, btw.
