my question is "what size is the thread so i can get a new pair?"
I need to get my car aligned, and the shop pointed out i don't have them, so no alignment.(it's actually better now than before i took on this project
)
if anyone can tell me the size, Ill run to the hardware store and get some.
thanx (and i concede, i am a dumb ***)

a)it probably wouldnt stay b/c the nut holds the tie rods in place, and if it moves, its all for nothing
and b)the shops can do it more accurately and quickly. $120 for life will go a long way...
weather is crappy for the next few days... i asked my local dealer to order me a couple{grumble, grumble...}.

Objection via experience:
- I tested adjusting toe-in with using a vacuum tube. Went to check it to a alignment shop (with expensive equipment). Adjustment was dead on --- no magic in turning screws...
- calculate ALL = time getting there, waiting etc. The DIY saves you 2x time.
Bonus: not yet taxes on DIY.
But yes, the $hop owner will be happy!
