Help me choose tires

My 94 gxe has Goodyear Integrity as stock tires. but they have worn too much and makes big road noise. I'm considering change tires. My concerns are comfortable and quiet ride while maitaining good dry traction and fuel efficiency. I don't have a lot money.

Here are several cadidates:

Mfgr.--tire Price good bad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yokohama--Avid touring $43ea quiet traction
balanced perf.
Goodyear--Integrity $80ea traction costly

???

Any suggestion?

A friend of mine also has a 94GXE and recently put Michelin Symmetry tires on it. We took a pretty long highway trip, the tires where definitely quiet and when it rained the traction seemed pretty good. they also have a 65,000 mile warranty, one drawback, they aren't the cheapest, but they are really good.

Re: Re: Help me choose tires

There is a post about tires in here. Check down the line a little.
Just put some Bridgestone Potenza RE 950's on my 92 SE 5 speed.
I think they are great tires. Not cheap.
Great write up on tirerack.com
Others were talking about Dunlop Sport A2's.
I've had the Dunlop D60A2's and was not very impressed.

I have the Dunlop SP Sport A2, and they're very quiet. Smooth ride, too.
